Hello,

I'm planning an April 10th through May 2nd, 2009 trip to Vietnam to research my upcoming bestseller novel, "Cold War Burning."

My trip will begin in Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh as some call it today. From there, I'll grab a ride to the Cu Chi tunnels, and up to Dalat with near Denver altitude for a round of golf.

Most of my tour time will be spent in Quang Ngai province where I was stationed during the war. After Quang Ngai, I travel to Danang and finish in Hanoi to experience the city during a Reunification holiday. -- Darrell

Within the next few months, I’ll be inserting into this blog the non-fiction chapter of my book pertaining to my research trip. This is where the fictional story will be further substantiated with “The Rest of the Story.” Stay tuned. You do not want to miss this update.
